Departmental candidates among Constables, Head Constables, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors of Delhi Police with a minimum of three years’ service.

These posts are Open and Departmental Vacancies. Serving person who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST) of age may also apply.

Any Under Graduate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree from any University of India, for Sub inspector in Delhi Police Driving Licence is required.

Pay Scale of Sub Inspector
Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPF carries a pay scale of Level-6 as per 7th pay commission with a range of (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and is post is classified as Group ‘B’ (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.
Sub-Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police carries pay scale of Level-6 as per 7th pay commission with a range of (Rs.35,400-Rs.1,12,400/-) and post is classified as Group ‘C’ by Delhi Police.
Service Conditions
Candidates selected as sub-inspector in CAPFs are liable to serve anywhere in India.
Application fee for apply
Fee payable: Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC),
Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from paying fees.
How Can I pay Fee
Fee can be paid through any Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, Debit cards, or BHIM UPI or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Fee can be paid up to 31.08.2022 (2300 hours).
Syllabus of exam
The full selection process will consist of Paper-I, Physical Endurance Test (PET), and Paper-II. The selected candidate can go through a detailed Medical Examination (DME) before joining. All these stages of the examination are mandatory.
Details of Paper I ( Total Marks 200) for 2 hours are as follows:
General Intelligence and Reasoning contain 50 questions each carrying 01marks total of 50 Marks
General Knowledge and General Awareness 50 questions each carries 01marks total of 50 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude 50 questions each carries 01marks total of 50 Marks
English Comprehension 50 questions each carries 01marks total of 50 Marks
PAPER-II ( Total Marks 200 ) for 2 Hours are as follows:
English language & Comprehension
Types of question Medium: Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English in Parts-I, and II.
Is there any Negative Marking
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I & Paper-II.
